This really impacted me.  Being from the south, albeit in the 80s-90s, I’ve still seen remnants of the system Piper grew up in.  And I have had to recently face the effect it has had on me.  Hearing his story is really powerful.  It’s about 20 min, but worth it I think.  At the very least, watch the first 5 or so min and the last 5 or so.  One of the best Christian perspectives on racial equality I’ve been exposed to.  His journey from accepting racism to adopting an African-American daughter.  Powerful!
