dear cell phone companies:

can someone please explain to me why you insist on asking me each time I must leave a message for someone if I’d like to send a “numeric page”?  excuse me?  that’d be great if they had a pager…but they have a cell phone.  that I just called.   and it also lets me send them this new-fangled thing called a “text message” should I choose to do so.  but i didn’t…i called them.  Just sayin’…
